What if this time were set aside by the district during professional development hours? This may not be something that could happen immediately, but the more technology we introduce, the more time we are going to need to produce useful, student specific lessons and assessments using those tools.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]},{"id":"2841149","dateCreated":"1203356682","smartDate":"Feb 18, 2008","userCreated":{"username":"dwilson777","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/dwilson777","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/pic\/1202793136\/dwilson777-lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/mid-deltechnology.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/2841149"},"dateDigested":1532144784,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"Addition to last paragraph","description":"I added some wording to the last paragraph. Perhaps we could replace that system with either a rubric that measures NETS for teachers or the LoTi system. ISTE brochures wouldnt be ENOUGH to cause STEPs to rearrange training to a more ISTE based system of assessing teachers' tech. skills. This would would go along with Dr. W's above posted idea. Cutting and pasting would be better than linking with the same result.","dateCreated":"1207427366","smartDate":"Apr 5, 2008","userCreated":{"username":"jfrydrych","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/jfrydrych","imageUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/pic\/1202793136\/jfrydrych-lg.jpg"}}],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
